This setup allows us to take you straight into the community to meet local entrepreneurs and host families who directly benefit from your visit. There are no staged performances here, just real stories, shared conversations, and authentic Tsumeb hospitality.
Please bring your own reusable water bottle. We provide free water refills to help us eliminate single-use plastic waste on our tours.

Guided by locals who know these streets best, you’ll explore how mining shaped our town’s history, visit busy community markets, and meet the entrepreneurs driving our local economy. The tour ends at a local family home to share a traditional, home-cooked meal.

This experience is about sharing a kitchen and a conversation. You will join a local family to learn the step-by-step preparation of traditional Namibian meals. It’s a straightforward look at daily culinary traditions where you help prepare local dishes, ask questions, learn about local ingredients, connect and sit down together to eat a great home-cooked meal, and leave with practical skills and real recipes to try at home.
FULL-DAY & HALF-DAY SAFARIS IN ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Wildlife Viewing from Our Base in Tsumeb
While our main experiences focus on eco-friendly e-bike tours through the community, we also offer traditional vehicle safaris into one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Located just 100 kilometers away, Tsumeb is only a one-hour drive from the Von Lindequist Gate (Namutoni entrance) of Etosha National Park, making it an ideal base for a day trip.
We offer two distinct safari options led by experienced local guides who handle all navigation and tracking:
Half-Day Safari: Perfect for travellers with limited time. This option gives you a focused morning or afternoon game drive through the eastern side of the park before returning to Tsumeb.
Full-Day Safari: A complete day trip that covers more ground within the park. You will spend the day visiting a variety of waterholes to see different wildlife at different times of the day.
